Q. Can pictures be printed on billiard cloth?
A. There is a lot of interest in printed beds and rails. Championship cloth company offers hundreds of ready to use images and licensed designs. Or custom images, photo, logos, emblems, etc. can be placed on your cloth. The process is expensive, but can look great. If you are interested, contact us.

Q. What is the ideal room size for a pool table?
A. The room size depends on the size of the table. I recommend five feet (60") of clearance around the periphery of the table for standard 57" cues. Or, the distance from the wall to the playing surface should be the length of the cue plus approximately 6" for each side and end. For example, if you're using 48" cues, the clearance around the table would be 54".

Q. How high should a light be hung above a pool table?
A. Generally, the light's rim is hung about three feet above the playing surface, but the overriding factor is the brightness of the light. You want the entire playing surface illuminated without flooding the surrounding area.

Q.  What is a regulation pool tables size?
A.  Some people believe that a regulation pool table is a 9' table, but regulation really means that the table must be twice as long as it is wide. Here are a few standard pool table sizes (in inches):

Table Size     PLaying Surface     Slate Size     Weight     Overall Size
7 foot              38 X 76                     45 X 85          450 lbs      49 X 87
8 foot              44 X 88                     51 X 95          570 lbs      55 X 99
8' oversize       46 X 92                     53 X 99          620 lbs      57 X 103
9 foot              50 X 100                   57 X 107         715 lbs      61 X 111
10 foot            56 X 112                   63 X 119         790 lbs      67 X 123
