 Set Achievable Goals

I think the only thing I took from my college psychology class was that things should be learned in chunks (their word, not mine). This process of achieving chunks of goals helps us in improving our pool game in that it builds confidence a little at a time. We are not overwhelmed with the monster, I want to improve my game. Instead, break it into chunks, like, today I want to improve my bridge, or my stroke, or my breaking technique. Then work only on that aspect of your game until you master it. Write your chunks of goals down and adhere to them, and don't get discouraged. In short order, your chunks will start coming together to form a natural looking whole, without you even thinking about it.
